Ten from men’s soccer make Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh placed 10 student-athletes on the Patriot League's Academic Honor Roll for men's soccer, which was announced Thursday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks were one of six Patriot League squads to crack double figures in honorees.Senior Engineering Physics major Jonathan Nydell led the Mountain Hawks in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA for the semester. He was followed closely by two teammates who achieved over a 3.8. In order to be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 GPA while in season.
Along with Nydell, junior Mark Whitmeyer and sophomore Taylor Sulmonetti also posted impressive 3.86 and 3.84 GPAs, respectively. Junior Christopher Rabey was not far behind with a 3.65 for the fall semester.
