Lehigh finishes up its indoor season

BOSTON – Three members of the Lehigh track and field teams competed on the final day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass on Sunday. Seniors Nick Ray and Ashlee Atwell, as well as, sophomore Stephen Tutunjian were all in action.
Ray earned three points for Lehigh as he finished in sixth place in the shot put with a throw of 54’ 11.25”. With Ray’s points, the Mountain Hawks finished the IC4As with 8.5 which ranked 32nd out of 44 teams.
Atwell competed in the pole vault and earned a 12th place finish with a vault of 11’ 7.75”. Tutunjian closed things out as he competed in the triple jump.
With the completion of the IC4A/ECAC Championships the Mountain Hawks will have a few weeks off until they began their outdoor season. Lehigh will open things up on March 20 at the Sam Howell Princeton Invitational.
