Lehigh opens spring season at Coca Cola Invite

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Mountain Hawks opened their 2010 spring schedule this past weekend at the Coca Cola Invitational as Lehigh placed fourth in the tournament with a team score of 923 (304, 299, 320). UT Tyler won the event as it shot 883 as a team (288, 284, 311) and was followed by Christopher Newport (910), Ohio Wesleyan (914), and Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks top individual finisher was Doug Marcincin who shot a 227 during the tournament (74, 73, 80) and placed ninth overall.
Other Mountain Hawks that competed were Steve Suarez who shot a 233 (77, 73, 83), Tim Rosenhouse who shot a 231 (74, 79, 78), Dwight D’Iorio who shot a 243 (79, 81, 83) and Sean Keller who finished with a 233 (80, 74, 79).
The top individual finishers in the tournament were Jacob Walsh and Joey Rippel who both shot a 216. Joseph Evans of Christopher Newport placed third in the standings.
Lehigh returns to action on April 10 when the Mountain Hawks compete at the Lafayette Invitational in Easton.
