Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh snapped a seven game losing streak and picked up its first Patriot League win of the season on Saturday afternoon with a 10-8 win over Holy Cross at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Holy Cross fell to 4-6 overall and 1-3 in the Patriot League with the loss.
Holy Cross opened the scoring when Katie Britt scored the first of her three goals on the day just 1:28 into the game. Lehigh quickly rebounded however and held a 4-2 lead with just over seven minutes left in the first period. The Crusaders finished the half strong however and knotted the score at four at the break.
