Toliver honored with Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award

Toliver garnered second team honors in women’s basketball following a strong senior campaign on the court and in the classroom. A 2004 graduate of Lehigh, Toliver earned a 3.75 grade point average in the fall 2004 semester as she has been pursuing her masters in sociology. She holds a cumulative GPA of 3.52, while on the court she became Lehigh’s career leader in three point field goals made with 158.
Slater has the unique distinction of being the only student athlete from a women’s crew program to be honored. The
A pair of sprinters from the track and field team received first team recognition. On the women’s side Tom was named to the team after holding a 3.80 GPA majoring in biochemistry. Pope, the Patriot League indoor champion in the 60 meter dash boasts a 3.92 GPA in Political Science.
