Mountain Hawks compete in 2008 Knecht Cup

CAMDEN, N.J. – Lehigh entered 11 crews in the Knecht Cup this past weekend on the Cooper River, and eight of the Mountain Hawks crews advanced to the semifinals. The men’s varsity eight placed fourth in Sunday’s grand finals as they crossed in a time of 5:52.5, just two-tenths of a second out of third place, while the men’s freshmen/novice eight also advanced to the grand finals where they too took fourth place, finishing in 6:16.4.
