Men's Rowing Takes On Rutgers On The Road

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Lehigh men's rowing traveled east to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights head-to-head on Saturday morning. The Mountain Hawks and Scarlet Knights competed in first varsity eight, second varsity eight, and first varsity four races.

The first race of the day was between Lehigh and Rutgers' second varsity eight boats. The Scarlet Knights finished ahead of the Mountain Hawks 6:47.98 to 6:50.40. In the first varsity eight race, Rutgers' boat clocked in at 6:19.11 while Lehigh's boat finished in 6:23.10. The final race of the day between the Mountain Hawks and Scarlet Knights was the first varsity four, which saw Lehigh win 7:54.48 to 7:59.60.

The Mountain Hawks will return to action on Saturday, May 2 at the MARC Championships on the Cooper River in New Jersey.
