Five Lehigh players named to Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced its Academic Honor Roll for men’s soccer on Thursday, and Lehigh had five student-athletes named to the list. A total of 76 student-athletes were honored, led by Colgate with a league high 13 athletes. Army’s Daniel Newell, was named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete.

Sophomore Jesse Schram led the way for the Mountain Hawks, posting a 3.76 GPA in the fall. Joining Schram on the honor roll were seniors Joe Clemente, Mike Hessemer and Patrick Starsinic and freshman Aaron Gildner.

To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.2 GPA in the fall and be awarded a varsity letter.
