Former Mountain Hawks win USL-2 title

BEHTLEHEM, Pa.- Former Mountain Hawk standouts Steve Fisher ‘04 and Sam Bishop ‘05 won the United Soccer League Second Division Championship on August 25, as members of the Harrisburg City Islanders. The Islanders defeated top-seeded
Fisher just completed his fourth season as a member of the Islanders. He has played primarily as a midfielder and a striker in 65 games with the Islanders. In his rookie season of 2004, he finished second on the team in goals (four) and points (12). This past season, he played in 18 of the team’s 20 games, scoring one goal and adding two assists. He also led the team with 30 shots.
With the Mountain Hawks in 2003, Fisher led the team in goals (eight) and points (16) and was named to the first team All-Patriot League. He was also named the 2003-04 Athlete of the Year.
