Bruno to appear on "Ultimate Road Trip"

Evan Bruno, a former All-American and two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, has been selected as a finalist for the YES Network reality show “Ultimate Road Trip.” Bruno has been chosen as one of seven finalists from which four will be selected to travel with the New York Yankees for all 162 games of an entire season. During their travels the winners will have certain competitions just like most other reality shows, but the prizes will be unlike the others, as the winners will have the chance to dine out with All-Star shortstop Derek Jeter or take batting practice with the team before games. The show, consisting of 26 episodes, will debut on Monday, April 4, at 8:00pm on the YES Network, with a new episode airing each Sunday at 7:30 pm.

While at Lehigh, Bruno was a third-team All-American in 2001, as well as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year in 2000 and 2002. The Middletown, Jew Jersey native was also a three-time First-Team All-Region player and a three-time First-Team All-Patriot League selection. Bruno holds school records in goals in a season with 18, goals in a career with 40. The former economics major was part of a 2000 team that posted a 12-6-3 record, which is third best in school history, and also helped lead the Mountain Hawks to NCAA Tournament appearances in both 2000 and 2002, as well as the 2000 Patriot League Championship.
