Four on Academic Honor Roll

Bethlehem, PA - Lehigh adds four names to the list of the 2002 Patriot League Men's Soccer Academic Honor Roll. Seniors Evan Bruno and Dan Perciballi along with sophomores Ben Gucciardi and Dustin Monahan were among the 55 student-athletes recognized. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the seven League-sponsored fall championship sports.
Bruno has a major in Business and Economics while Gucciardi is an International Relations and Economics major. Monahan is an Arts and Science major while Perciballi is majoring in Computer Engineering.
Bruno and Percibali were named to the 2002 All-Middle Atlantic Region first team by the NSCAA this season. Bruno received the honor for the third straight year while Perciballi was given the distinction for the second consecutive year. Bruno, who led Lehigh in scoring all four years of his career, had seven goals, seven assists and 21 points this season. Bruno was also named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year along with Matt Ney of Holy Cross.
Perciballi finished second on the team in scoring with five goals and ten points. He is also a member of the All-Patriot League first team along with Bruno. Gucciardi was a key member of Lehigh's defense this season. Monahan, a midfielder, played in 12 games and started five this season.
