Holy Cross drops Lehigh in Patriot League action

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh fell to Patriot League foe Holy Cross 2-0 Saturday at the Ulrich Complex. The loss drops the Mountain Hawks to 2-4-1 overall and 0-1-0 in Patriot League play while Holy Cross improves to 5-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in Patriot League play.
Matt Ney and Chris Napolitano scored crusader goals while Pat Montgomery added an assist on the Ney goal. Crusader goalkeeper Kevin Baker picked up three saves en route to his fifth win of the season. For Lehigh, Evan Bruno managed five solid shots; however, he was unable to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Ryan Grzeszczak notched four saves but suffered the hard-luck loss, his fourth of the season.
Lehigh returns to action on Wednesday at Drexel. Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
