Patriot League names six to Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Six Mountain Hawks earned places on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll when it was released Monday. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League’s seven fall championship sports. The criteria for awarding varsity letters are different at each institution. This year, 87 athletes were named to the Honor Roll.

Junior midfielder Jesse Schram – who was also named to the Academic All-Mid Atlantic Team earlier this offseason – led the way for the Brown and White with a 3.86 grade point average in the fall. Senior forward Pat Cucci, junior defender Adam Welch, sophomore goalkeeper Jonathan Nydell and freshman midfielders Dan Odenwelder and Neal Melchionni joined Schram on the list.
