Big Five Classic proves tough for Lehigh

Philadelphia, PA – Lehigh shot a 631 as a team to finish 11th at the Big Five Classic, hosted by Penn on Saturday and Sunday. Princeton shot a 589 to win the tournament, besting William & Mary by ten strokes.
Individually, the Mountain Hawks were led by the play of sophomore Alan Borowsky, who shot a 77 on Saturday and a 79 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 35th place with a 156. Teammate Patrick McCahill (78-80-158) was the second Lehigh finisher. John Jaravata (80-80) and Jason Moloney (81-79) each shot a 160 to round out the Lehigh scoring. Sophomore Will Weihenmayer also competed for the Mountain Hawks, and he shot a 164. The Big Five Classic wrapped up fall competition for the Mountain Hawks.
