Lehigh baseball season opener postponed

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh baseball team’s season opener scheduled for Wednesday at Coppin State has been postponed. No make-up date has been announced. Despite unseasonably mild weather and partly cloudy skies in the Lehigh Valley, about an inch of snow had already fallen in the Baltimore metro area by 9:00 am, with the forecast for more snow there throughout the morning.

Lehigh will attempt to once again open its season this weekend, as the Mountain Hawks visit Delaware State for a four-game series beginning Saturday afternoon in Dover, Del.
