Mountain Hawks will wait one more day to decide fate

Bethlehem, PA – Rain has washed out Lehigh’s doubleheader with Lafayette originally scheduled for 12:00pm on Sunday. The rain began around noon, and continued throughout the early afternoon until it was not possible to get the games in.

The doubleheader has been rescheduled for Monday afternoon at Goodman Field, starting at 1:00pm. Lehigh still needs a sweep of the Leopards to qualify for the Patriot League tournament. Army and Lafayette have already clinched berths, and a Lehigh sweep on Monday will ensure the Mountain Hawks qualify for the third straight season. A split, or a Lafayette sweep will send one of the other three league teams to the postseason party.
