Lehigh falls to No. 13 Notre Dame in South Bend

NOTRE DAME,
Lehigh was out shot 40-11 for the game, and recorded 12 draw controls to the Fighting Irish’s 14. The Mountain Hawks forced 18 Notre Dame turnovers, but did turn the ball over 30 times themselves. Brittany Besler played all 60 minutes in goal for the Brown and White, facing those 40 shots, and picking up ten saves along the way. Sara MacIntyre and Kyle Roth both handed out assists for Lehigh as well.
Notre Dame scored the games first six goals, before Pharaon scored her fourth goal of the season at the 19:46 mark of the first half off of a feed from Roth. Chalanick added her second score of the season with 9:25 to go in the half, as the Mountain Hawks trailed 12-2. In the second half, Smith netted her second score of the season at the 12:47 mark and Tenety followed that with her third goal of the season, with 9:28 to go. Notre Dame would not let up however, scoring the games final three goals.
