No. 30 Lehigh stays put in poll; readies for match with GW

In each of its four wins this season, Lehigh has shut its opponent out, and for the year, the Mountain Hawks have outscored their opponents 11-3. Sophomore Charlie Sales has accounted for all four shut outs in goal for Lehigh, bringing his career total to nine. As a team, the Mountain Hawks are seventh in the nation in shots on goal save percentage, eighth in shut out percentage, 11th in team goals against average and 19th in won-lost-tied percentage. Lehigh leads the Patriot League in goals and assists per game, as well as fewest goals allowed.
Individually, senior Adam Williamson ranks second in the league with 11 points, coming on five goals and one point. The
Fellow senior Jim Stevens is tied with Williamson for sixth in the league in goals with three, while Williamson is tied for second in the Patriot League with three assists. In addition, Williamson is tied atop the leader board for game-winning goals, with two thus far.
George Washington is coming off of a 2-2 tie with Rider on Saturday in
Leading the way for George Washington will be Arturo Pedroso, who is the leading point producer with five. Pedroso, Andre Chapman and Benjamin Mortimer have all scored two goals thus far, while Steve Brown is the leading assist man with three. In goal for the Colonials is Derek Biss, who has seen 479 minutes of action, registering 26 saves and a 0.75 goals against average.
The Colonials are 2-0 away from home so far this season, while Lehigh is undefeated at the Ulrich Sports Complex, setting up a very enticing match up on Wednesday. The action gets underway at 7:00 with live video and audio broadcast on lehighsports.com, with streaming provided by Yahoo! Sports. The game will then be re-played locally later on Wednesday evening, beginning at 10:00 on Service Electric 2 Sports, and again on Friday, September 30 on Fox College Sports (FCS) starting at 9:30 PM.
