O'Reilly awarded again; Lehigh clinches spot in tourney

In Lehigh’s match with Colgate on Saturday, O’Reilly tied the score at one with a penalty kick early in the second half. The political science major then gave the Mountain Hawks the lead for good with his sixth goal of the season in the 63rd minute, booting a rebound into the back of the net for the eventual game-winner. O’Reilly leads the Brown and White in game-winning goals with four and is a perfect three-of-three on the year on penalty kicks. On defense he has helped lead the Brown and White to a number-14 national ranking in team goals against average, allowing only 0.63 goals per match, which leads the Patriot League.
O’Reilly and his Mountain Hawk teammates received some other good news on Tuesday, when they found out they have clinched a spot in next month’s Patriot League Tournament. Lehigh is currently tied for first place in the Patriot League along with American and Lafayette at 4-2. The Mountain Hawks, ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region, still have a shot at hosting the tournament, depending on the outcome of this weekend’s matches. The Brown and White travels to
