Mountain Hawks climb in national and regional polls

In 2002, Lehigh sat at the top of the regional poll for much of the season, and climbed all the way to No. 14, its highest ranking in school history, after defeating No. 18 Duke and No. 21 Penn in back-to-back matches. In the latest NCAA statistical rankings, Lehigh finds itself in a number of top-20 categories, both individually and as a team. The Mountain Hawks are currently fifth in the nation in shots on goal percentage, seventh in team goals against average, and 13th in both shutout percentage and won-lost-tied percentage. Sophomore goal keeper Charlie Sales is also ranked in the top-ten in both goals against average, where he is tenth at 0.486, and in shots on goal save percentage, where he comes in at number-eight, sending back just below 89 percent.
