Jim Stevens has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, as announced on Monday.
This is the second time this season a Mountain Hawk has been named to the team, as senior
Adam Williamson received the honor on September 19.
In other soccer news, Lehigh, which is currently ranked fourth in the Mid-Atlantic Region, received votes in the CSN National Poll, also released on Monday.
For the year, Stevens has totaled a team-leading six goals, including one game-winner, and 13 points. Saturday’s two-goal effort marked the second time this season that the Virginia native has scored at least twice in one match. The 6-7 forward notched a hat trick in the Mountain Hawks 6-0 victory over Temple in early September. Last year, Stevens scored two goals against both Rider and Bucknell.
The latest NCAA statistical rankings, as well as the regional rankings and NSCAA National Poll will all be released on Tuesday.
Stevens and Lehigh return to action Wednesday evening when the Mountain Hawks step out of conference and welcome Adelphi to the Ulrich Sports Complex. Game time is set for 7:00
