Bethlehem, PA -The Mountain Hawks return to the pitch Friday night as they welcome Jacksonville, Lafayette and Saint Joseph’s to the Ulrich Sports Complex for the Lehigh Soccer Classic The Mountain Hawks come in with a 2-1 record with both wins coming at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Last time out the Mountain Hawks defeated Rider 5-0 behind a pair of goals from junior Jim Stevens. Freshman Patrick Starsinic was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week after scoring two goals in Lehigh’s first three matches.
The Jacksonville Dolphins come to Bethlehem riding a three game winning streak. The Jacksonville offense has clicked early in the season, as the Dolphins have tallied 11 goals in their first four matches. Sophomore Tommy Krizanovic (5 goals is the reigning Atlantic Sun Offensive Player of the Week.
The Lafayette Leopards are 4-1 on the season after posting a 2-0 record at the Puma Lafayette Soccer Classic last weekend in Easton. Junior Goalkeeper Mike Tortora was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after posting a 0.98 goals against average in the Leopards first five matches.

Saint Joseph’s Hawks picked up their first victory of the season on Wednesday, defeating Philadelphia University 3-2. Freshman Chris Powell leads the Hawks attack with two goals on the season.
The tournament gets underway Friday with
Lafayette meeting Saint Joseph’s at 5:00. The Mountain Hawks will follow against Jacksonville at 7:30; that game will be broadcast on lehighsports.com. The tournament concludes on Sunday with Jacksonville and Lafayette meeting at noon and the Mountain Hawks and Saint Joseph’s to follow at 2:30. Lehigh’s game against Saint Josephs will be broadcast on lehighsports.com and televised in the Lehigh Valley by Service Electric TV 2 Sports.
