Williamson honored for award winning play

In Lehigh’s game at Adelphi on Wednesday of last week, Williamson found the back of the net at the 80:38 mark to propel the Mountain Hawks to the victory. The junior then followed that up with another game-winner, also on the road, at Patriot League foe Army on Saturday evening. This time the goal was at the 75:24 mark and it gave the Brown and White its first Patriot League win of the season, as well as the team’s third consecutive road victory.
Head Coach Dean Koski is excited to see both Adam and the entire Mountain Hawk team receive recognition for their play of late. “Adam scored two critical goals for us in two critical games last week. We needed him to step up his play and he did exactly that. He’s really having a great season for us.” Koski continues, “It’s also great to see Adam and the program receive national recognition after all of the hard work they’ve been putting in.”
This is the second time in 2004 that Williamson has been named the Patriot League’s Offensive Player of the Week, as he also received the honor on September 19 following a week in which he scored the game-winning goal in Lehigh’s 1-0 victory over
