In 2016-17: Team captain… qualified for third NCAA Championship… finished one win shy of earning All-America honors… took third place at EIWA Championships to qualify for NCAAs… ranked in top 15 at 149 for most of regular season… was seeded 10th at NCAAs… had 11 bonus wins including six major decisions and four technical falls… finished fifth at Southern Scuffle… went 3-0 in his pool at Journeymen Collegiate Classic… won Gerald G. Leeman award at annual Lewis Wrestling Dinner.
In 2015-16: Qualified for second NCAA Tournament following third place EIWA finish at 149… went 1-2 in second trip to nationals… eight of 22 wins produced bonus points… held starting spot at 149 for most of the season… finished second at Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open.
In 2014-15: Deferred eligibility while moving up to 149… had strong year competing unattached in open tournaments, going 18-6… placed in five of six tournaments entered… won East Stroudsburg Open in November… had three second place finishes… had three falls and 11 bonus point victories.
In 2013-14: Won starting spot at 141 and qualified for first NCAA Championships… went 1-2 in first trip to NCAAs with come-from-behind win over No. 16 seed Joe Spisak of Virginia in first match… won season-opening Clarion Knight Point Open… won first six bouts in 2014 before suffering injury in final match of regular season… went 1-2 at EIWA Tournament but earned at-large berth to NCAAs... recorded two falls and six bonus point victories.
In 2012-13: Posted 6-6 record in 12 bouts… began season as starter at 133… competed in four second-semester duals at 141… went 2-2 at Midlands Championships at 133, falling one win shy of placing… final bout of season was 5-4 come-from-behind win over Rutgers NCAA qualifier Trevor Melde.
In secondary school: Compiled a 165-26 career record … ranked in the top 20 nationally by The Open Mat … took third as a senior at the 132 lbs. PIAA state championship … placed seventh and second in his sophomore and junior seasons … Daily Record/Sunday News YAIAA Division II Wrestler of the Year his senior year …. two-time district and regional champion … placed fifth at Super 32 … took fourth at 2001 King of the Mountain … took fifth in Greco-Roman at Junior Nationals.
