The 2023-24 season marks Allison Taub's fourth year with Lehigh track and field. Prior to Lehigh, Taub was a member of the Gwynedd Mercy track and field coaching staff.
The 2021-22 season was highlighted by three school records being broken in the women's program. Senior Teasha McKoy broke the indoor shot put and weight throw records and went on to break the outdoor shot put at the ECAC Championship. In addition to these records, Taub has coached six Patriot League scorers and two ECAC All-East competitors. The season boasted the addition of eight throwers to the “Top 10” all-time list. In Taub’s first season as throws coach, Riley LaRivere broke into the top 10 list in shot put, discus, and hammer and scored in all three events at the Patriot League Championship meet.
Off the track, Taub has her BSW from Monmouth University. She works at Kensington Hospital as an Admissions Coordinator and Social Worker.
Before Lehigh, Taub spent one year at Gwynedd Mercy University, where she was the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for both the throws and jumps. Taub coached eight all conference athletes and two national qualifiers. Taub also has served as a private coach for LetsRun360 since 2019.
Taub was a four-year letter winner and two year captain for the Monmouth Hawks from 2015-2019. During her time, she won five individual, eight team MAAC championships, and was a two-time MAAC athlete of the year. She currently holds the Monmouth shot put school record, and is second all-time in the discus. Taub graduated from Monmouth in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in social work.
Taub’s certifications include USATF Level 1 and level 2 Throws.
