Erin Williams is entering her first season as a graduate assistant coach for Lehigh’s swimming program. She arrives at Lehigh as a graduate of the University of Scranton where she received a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in English.

Williams swam for the University of Scranton and was a team captain in her senior year. In her four year career she captured a second, fifth, and sixth place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships in the 100 meter butterfly as well as a second place and two fourth place finishes in the 200 meter butterfly. Williams also took home a Middle Atlantic Conference Championship in 2004 when she took first place in the 100 meter butterfly. She also holds the women’s school records for both the 100 and 200 meter butterfly.

This Pennsylvania local also swam at Emmaus high school where she led the team as a senior captain. Williams will fulfill a longstanding family tradition as she enters Lehigh behind her mother, father and grandfather who are all Lehigh Alumni. Williams will be pursing a graduate degree in Secondary School Counseling while at Lehigh.
