WHY LEHIGH? “The campus is beautiful and I knew it would be a challenging, yet rewarding experience. It is also only an hour from my hometown, which means my parents can come to all the home games.”
AS A SENIOR (2022): Breakout senior season, finishing fourth on the Mountain Hawks in goals (28) and points (44) and third in assists (16) … Had eight multi-goal games, 12 multi-point games and three hat tricks … Finished fourth on the team in shots (72) and third in shots on goal (61) … Added seven groundballs and a caused turnover … Scored a goal in the Patriot League Semifinals at No. 7 Loyola (5/5) … In the quarterfinals at Colgate (5/1), tied a career-high five points via a goal and career-high four assists. BEFORE LEHIGH: All-time leader for goals and points at Montclair High School … Named honorable mention All-Conference American Division as a freshman in 2015 … As a sophomore, was named second team All-League Freedom Central Conference along with first team All-League Stars and Stripes Division … As both a junior and senior, was named first team All-Conference American Division … In 2018, was also named Most Valuable Player, third team All-Group 4 and garnered US Lacrosse All-Academic Recognition … Part of the 2015 Girls Lacrosse Essex County Championship Team, when she was named the program's Rookie of the Year … In 2017, garnered the Best Offensive Player Award … Also a soccer standout, was named honorable mention All-Conference American Division in 2015 and 2016 while being named to the first team in 2017 … In her time, helped leader her soccer teams to a Group 4 State Championship in 2014 along with two sectional titles … Named the team's Best Defensive Player in each of her final three seasons … In the classroom, Giordano was a member of the National Honor Society.
