Why Lehigh: “I knew I could receive a high quality education at a well respected school while playing the sport I enjoy. Also, I loved the overall atmosphere and vibe from the people on campus.”
On being a student-athlete at Lehigh: “Being a student-athlete at Lehigh gives me the opportunity to participate in tough competition, develop strong bonds with the girls on my team, and create a greater sense of school pride.”
On Coach Ota: “Coach Liz and Coach Jill are the teams’ strengths of support. Jill and Liz are former players who are truly knowledgeable of the sport and feel like it is their responsibility for us to meet success on the lacrosse field. Both are always there you whether you need a pep talk or a home-cooked meal. They are so dedicated to this team that you almost become a part of their family.”
Player Profile: as a freshman … saw time in 13 games, starting three … scooped up 12 ground balls and won eight draw controls … scooped up a career-best four ground balls to go along with three draw controls in a win over St. Joe’s … scooped up three ground balls versus Columbia … in secondary school … three-year starter in lacrosse … First-Team All-Conference selection … Second-Team All-South Jersey selection … Eastern High School 2006 Scholar Athlete … four-year varsity soccer player … served as captain of lacrosse and soccer teams … member of National Honor Society and student council … founder and president of club future Engineering and Medical Professionals of America … daughter of Michael and Sharon … has one brother, Michael … volunteers at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
