Allison Thomas, a 2011 Lehigh graduate is in her first year as an administrative assistant for the women’s lacrosse team under head coach Jill Redfern. She is currently attending graduate school after earning her Bachelor of Science in Arts and Sciences as an English major. A four-year lacrosse standout, Thomas wrapped up her collegiate career with 156 points via 112 goals and 44 assists. She also added 166 groundballs, 143 draw controls and 32 caused turnovers.
From her stints at Topseed, to Springside School, and now to Lehigh, Thomas has worked as athletic trainer, administrative assistant, coordinator of events and a co-director of the Springside School Lacrosse Camp. She was also a tutor for Chestnut Hill Academy Reading and Language Arts Camp at Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia.
In her lacrosse career, Thomas was a four-time All-Patriot League selection, earning first-team honors as a junior and senior. She was also a two-time All-Patriot League Tournament honoree. A team captain in 2011, Thomas was a Distinguished Achievement Award Winner presented to student-athletes who displayed a high level of scholarship, significant athletic achievement at the league level and beyond and demonstrated service to the institution. She also earned the team’s Coaches Award as a junior. Along with her on-field successes, Thomas has extensive experience in taking leadership roles.
At Conestoga High School, Thomas was elected as the team captain in both field hockey and women's lacrosse. She was named Second Team All-State in field hockey while helping lead her lacrosse squad to the 2004, 2005 and 2006 District I Championships.
Thomas was a board representative of COACH, Community Outreach for Athletes who Care about Helping. She was also a member of the L.A.U.N.C.H Program and Legacies from the Lehigh Athletics Leadership Academy and took the role as Emerging Leader for the Lehigh Athletics Leadership Academy.
