ON BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LEHIGH: “Being a student-athlete at Lehigh means everything to me. I will not only be challenged in the classroom, but on the field as well. I will be able to play a sport I love while having professors, coaches and teammates care about me as an individual.”
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Impressed in limited action, posting nine goals and an assist in eight games (five starts) … One of eight Mountain Hawks to eclipse double-digit points … Goal total was sixth on the team … Scored those nine goals in 18 shots … 17 of the 18 shots were on goal … Also added two groundballs, a draw control and three caused turnovers … Had two points in each of her first five games of 2012 … Scored two goals at Fairfield (3/21), vs. Lafayette (3/24), at Villanova (3/27) and at American (3/31) … Posted a goal and assist against New Hampshire (4/7) … Had two groundballs and two caused turnovers against Lafayette.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011): One of team’s strongest rookie performers, playing in 13 games (including six starts) … Posted seven points via five goals and two assists … Finished with 15 shots, 13 on goal … Posted a 33.3 shooting percentage … Also recorded six groundballs, two draw controls and a caused turnover … Dished an assist as part of dominating win against American (4/2) … Scored a goal and added two groundballs at Temple (3/24) … Netted fourth goal of the season vs. Fairfield (3/16) … Posted a goal and groundball in first three career games - at Marist (2/19) and against Delaware (2/26) and Saint Joseph’s (3/2) … Career-high two points (goal, assist) came vs. Saint Joe’s.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Three-year letterwinner for West Babylon High School … Captain during 2009 and 2010 seasons … One of Long Island’s Top 25 scoring leaders in points in 2010 with 50 goals and 41 assists … Earned Academic All American and All County Award in 2010 … All County Honorable Mention in 2009 and All Division in 2008 … Represented Long Island Metro in the U.S. School Girls National Tournament in 2009 … Member of the Long Island Elite Yellow Jackets Lacrosse Club for five years … Named to the All Galaxy Second Team in 2009 with an Honorable Mention in 2008 … Also a Two-year letter winner in volleyball in 2008 and 2009 and a Captain during the 2009 season … One-year letter winner in track and field in 2007 … Member of Student Association.
