AS A SENIOR (2015): Did not see action.
AS A JUNIOR (2014): Played in two games, at Loyola (3/22) and vs. American (4/13) … Had a groundball against the Eagles.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013): Played in eight games, posting one shot (on goal), groundball and caused turnover … Had a groundball in season finale at Holy Cross (4/19)… Caused a turnover at #7 Penn State (4/10) … Took one shot on goal vs. Howard (4/14) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Played in 11 games, starting three times … Finished with two groundballs and a draw control … Started games vs. Binghamton (3/14), at Bucknell (3/17) and against Navy (4/21) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Wrapped up strong career at the Academy of Notre Dame by scoring 36 goals, dishing 25 assists and adding 35 groundballs, 26 draw controls and 16 caused turnovers in 2011 … Four-year varsity lacrosse letterwinner and three-year field hockey letterwinner … Named team’s Most Improved Player sophomore season … Earned Honorable Mention All-Main Line the year following… Also a star field hockey player, Buysse garnered Honorable Mention All-Delco, Second Team All-Main Line and First Team All-Inter-AC as a senior … Was a captain for both lacrosse and field hockey … Member of the National Honor Society and campus ministry … Helped found the Honor Corps – a group that promotes and helps educate the younger girls about the honor code at Notre Dame … Named an Academic All-American … Earned Honors as a freshman and Distinguished Honors as a sophomore, junior and senior.
