Tricia Smith is in her second season with Lehigh.
In her first full season as a coach, Smith was just as successful as she was when she was a player in the Brown and White. Under Smith, Lehigh won its third-straight Patriot League regular season title and had its third 20-win season, the most consecutive 20-win seasons in program history.
She joined the Lehigh coaching staff in 2010-11 after a stellar playing career with the Mountain Hawks. Smith helped lead the Brown and White to Patriot League championships in 2008-09 and 2009-10 and currently ranks fourth all-time at Lehigh in career rebounds (679).

As a fifth-year senior and co-captain in 2009-10, Smith started all 32 games and led the team in rebounding (6.2). The Zanesville, Ohio native was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament team after turning in a seven-point, 11-rebound effort vs. American in the championship game.
In 2008-09, Smith pulled down double-digit rebounds five times, including a career-high 13 against Fairleigh Dickinson. Smith also recorded 10 boards in the Patriot League title game against Lafayette as the Brown and White won the first of their back-to-back league titles. Smith also finished second on the team in steals (32) and third in assists (54).
Before attending Lehigh, Smith was named Ohio’s Division II Player of the Year at Tri-Valley High School, where she amassed over 1,100 points, 700 rebounds and 400 steals. Smith was a first-team All-State selection and was MVP of the All-State All-Star Game.
