Tiffany Coll enters her fourth season with the Mountain Hawks coaching staff in 2011-12 and her third as the team's recruiting coordinator. Prior to joining Lehigh, Coll was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Navy.

Last season, Coll's work with the forwards continued to prove fruitful as Lehigh won its third-straight regular season Patriot League title and had its third-straight 20-win season, the most consecutive 20-win seasons in school history. Junior Emily Gratch was second on the team last year in field goals made (132) and attempts (290) while her .455 field goal percentage ranked her eighth in the Patriot League while junior Alexa Williams was third in the League with most double-doubles (five) and eighth in the league in rebounding (6.3). Williams was also seventh in the league in blocked shots while Gratch as tenth.

During the 2009-10 campaign, Coll assisted with the development of the team's post play. Under her instruction, sophomore forward Emily Gratch was named first-team All-Patriot League and led the league in field goal percentage (.545). Lehigh also finished second in the Patriot League in defensive rebounding (25.2) and third in blocked shots (3.5).

In the 2008-09 season, Coll helped mentor an extremely deep post rotation for the Brown and White. Under her guidance, Lehigh saw the emergence of two freshman forwards who became mainstays in the rotation, including a Patriot League All-Rookie Team selection (Alexa Williams). Lehigh outrebounded opponents 38.3-34.7 in a season where it compiled 26 wins and won its second Patriot League championship in school history.

Coll graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2003, where she played basketball for four years. Coll appeared in 101 career games for the Retrievers and averaged more than 16 minutes per game. She was named captain in both her junior and senior seasons, and she helped lead UMBC to the finals of the Northeast Conference Tournament in her final year.

Coll went on to play professionally for four different leagues overseas from 2003-05. She played in Great Britain, the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal before returning home to coach at the collegiate level.

Upon returning to the United States, Coll took a position as a graduate assistant at St. John’s University. She coached there for two seasons, helping to lead the Red Storm to its first NCAA Tournament berth in almost two decades in 2006. Coll also earned a Master’s degree in Sociology in 2007.

While at Navy, Coll built experience and connections in the Patriot League and its recruiting areas. She coached and helped develop Cassie Consedine, who was named the Patriot League’s Rookie of the Year in 2008.

Troyan believes Coll’s experiences with Navy will carry over to her time here at Lehigh.

"Tiffany understands the demands placed on student-athletes within the Patriot League, and brings with her a strong familiarity with our league and league opponents," Troyan said.
