There will certainly be a familiar face on Lehigh’s coaching staff this upcoming season as Jessica DePalo enters her first year as a graduate assistant coach for the Lehigh women’s basketball program. She is responsible for the entire film exchange program for scouting in addition to directing the academic support program. She also will serve as an administrative assistant.
Following a remarkable career at Lehigh, DePalo is no stranger to success on and off the court. Graduating with a marketing degree last spring, she was named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II second team in her junior and senior year. She has been selected to the Patriot League’s Academic Honor Roll multiple times for her hard work in the classroom, and has also captured Dean’s List recognition at Lehigh.
On the court DePalo enjoyed a stellar career for the Mountain Hawks, becoming the first player in Lehigh history to record back-to-back seasons with more than 500 points and 200 field goals. She finished her career with 1,466 points placing her fourth on the Lehigh’s all-time scoring list. DePalo’s 639 rebounds ranks fifth in Lehigh basketball history. The Rumson,
