Gregg was a four-year member of the Big Red basketball program, where she earned Rookie of the Week honors as a freshman and helped lead the team to 20 wins and the Ivy League Championship as a senior co-captain. Gregg started all 29 games for Cornell as a senior, averaging nearly nine points per game in that time, while leading the Central New York school to the fourth best three-point shooting percentage in the nation.
The Mountain Hawks put up impressive 3-point shooting numbers in the 2008-09 season, leading the Patriot League with a .346 percentage from downtown and making 5.9 3-pointers per game. Lehigh broke the school record for 3-pointers made in a season, with 196, and Alex Ross broke her own school record by sinking 93 triples on the year.
Gregg worked numerous camps throughout her collegiate days, and also gained experience as an intern in the Cornell Student Services Office and as a Teaching Assistant. Gregg graduated from Cornell in 2008 with a degree in applied economics and management, and she will complete work on a master’s degree in education at Lehigh this academic year.
