Why Lehigh?: “It is a school that is strong academically and has a competitive Division I golf program.”
As a junior: Played six rounds over three tournaments… shot 154 to tie for 39th at Columbia Fall Invitational… also played in Lehigh Invitational and Columbia Spring Invitational… season low round of 76 in Columbia Fall Invitational.
As a sophomore: Did not participate in 2021 spring season.
As a first-year: Played all 14 competitive rounds over five tournaments… led Lehigh at fall-opening Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational, tying for 52nd place at 229 (78-76-75)… shot low round of 69 in second round of The Doc Gimmler, where he tied for 21st place at 215 (73-69-73)… finished season with 77.57 stroke average… shot 246 at UConn Invitational at Greathorse, 165 at Lehigh Invitational and 231 at UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate.
Before Lehigh: 2017 Connecticut High School Division I State Champion… runner-up at 2019 New England High School Championship… four-time Connecticut Division I All-State… made the cut at 2019 Junior PGA National Championship… member of Team Connecticut, which won the New England Junior Amateur Invitational… ranked 160th nationally among 2019 seniors on Junior Golf Scoreboard… high honor student.
Personal: Son of Gary and Monica… brother Carlos and sister Shawna… father played football at Colgate.
