AS A SENIOR (2018): Enjoyed a career season, posting career highs in games played (19), games started (11) and groundballs (19) … Added four caused turnovers and a draw control … Fired first two career shots (one on goal) … Part of a defense which allowed single-digit goals on eight occasions …  The Mountain Hawks allowed just 37 goals over the final five games of the regular season (7.4/game) to help lead them to six straight wins heading into the Patriot League Tournament … Recorded two groundballs and a caused turnover in the Patriot League Quarterfinals vs. Holy Cross (5/1) … Fired first-career shot on goal against Bucknell (4/22) … Impressed with three groundballs and a caused turnover at Holy Cross (4/14) … Tallied two groundballs in consecutive games, at Army West Point (3/31) and vs. Colgate (4/7) … Recorded a groundball vs. No. 10 Loyola (3/24) … Had two groundballs in the Patriot League opener at Boston University (3/17) … Posted two groundballs and a caused turnover in double overtime win at Mount St. Mary’s (3/9) … Finished with three groundballs and caused a turnover at Wagner (3/3). BEFORE LEHIGH: McBrearty played three years of varsity lacrosse for Ridgewood High School, winning county championships in 2012, 2013 and 2014 … Ridgewood was Group 4 Champions in 2012 and Group 4 North Champions in 2013 … Named honorable mention All-League in 2014 … Was an Academic All-American in 2013 and 2014 … A two-sport athlete, played four years of varsity soccer and was a two-time All-Division second team honoree … Member of the National Honor Society.
