As a freshman…did not play…In high school … four year starter … earned conference all-star selections in 2003, 2004 and 2005 … Hugheville’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2005, leading the team in batting average, hits, RBIs, home runs and slugging percentage … also lettered in football and basketball … and graduated fifth in class … Wendy’s High School Heisman nominee.
