2017 (SENIOR SEASON)
Earned a second team All-ECAC selection … earned a first and second team All-Patriot League selection, earning first team accolades as a designated hitter and second team honors as a starting pitcher … named a first team All-American first baseman and pitcher by Jewish Sports Review … earned an Academic All-Patriot League selection … played in and started all 50 games as either a first baseman or designated hitter, while also working as a weekend starter on the mound … finished third in the Patriot League (regular season) in home runs (8) and ninth in slugging percentage (.507) … in the field, he posted a .988 fielding percentage with 219 putouts, 25 assists and three errors … on the mound, Donovan posted the lowest earned-run average (2.11) on the team and lowest among Patriot League starting pitchers … he surrendered the fewest total runs (17) and earned runs (11) by a Patriot League starting pitcher … tied for the team lead in wins (4) as he allowed the fewest hits (40), fewest total runs (17) and fewest earned runs (11) out of the team's top-three weekend starters … he also surrendered just four extra-base hits on the season (1 2B, 2 3B, 1 HR) which is the lowest total of any Lehigh pitcher who logged at least 8.1 innings of work this season, it is also lowest total of extra-base hits allowed among Patriot League pitchers who pitched at least 22.1 innings on the season … was named the Patriot League Player of the Week (3/28) and Pitcher of the Week (4/11) … named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.85 GPA in the spring semester.

2016 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Earned second team All-Patriot League recognition as Lehigh’s designated hitter and also served as a late-inning reliever…hit .272 with 26 RBI, 22 runs scored and five home runs…went 5-for-9 with three home runs and six RBI in a league-opening doubleheader at Bucknell (4/2)…made 14 appearances out of the bullpen, throwing a season-long 5.2 innings while striking out a season-best six batters at Rider (4/5)…finished the season with a 3.68 ERA, including a strong 0.96 ERA in five Patriot League appearances...named a Jewish Sports Review first team All-American...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2015 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Saw action in 18 games and made 14 appearances with two starts on the mound…finished the season with a .273 batting average and 8.31 ERA…went 4-for-6 at the plate in an 18-1 win over DeSales with five RBI, two doubles and grand slam…earned the save in a 10-9 win over Holy Cross and a 5-3 victory at Lafayette…struck out six batters while allowing just one run in seven innings of a 2-1 loss at Holy Cross…earned the win after tossing 3.2 hitless, scoreless innings in an 11-1 win at Iona.

2014 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Saw action in 12 games, including two stints on the mound…finished the season with a .278 batting average and 3.38 ERA…knocked in two runs and crossed the plate once in his first collegiate action against Fairleigh Dickinson…went 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored against UMES… got the start and threw seven innings while striking out six and allowing just five hits in a 4-3 extra-inning win at Coppin State...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE LEHIGH
Donovan led Pennington School to its first NJISAA Prep B-Division State Final since 1985. He was named Co-Prep Player of the Year and the Pennington School's Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2013, while also garnering the team MVP award. From 2011-13, Donovan was a three-time New Jersey All-Prep selection, three-time All-Area selection and a three-time All-Prep League selection. He was a Rawlings Baseball Atlantic Region All-High School team selection and an Under Armour Preseason All-American in 2013. Off the field, Donovan earned a spot on the Dean's List for four years, was a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society, and won the Terry William Weiler Memorial Scholarship Award for outstanding academics, character and participation in extracurricular activities.
