Why Lehigh?  “I wanted a school that would challenge me in academics, as well as athletics, and Lehigh University offered me the best of both worlds, an excellent education and a competitive lacrosse program.”

 

On coach Redfern: “Coach Jill is extremely knowledgeable and approachable at the same time.  She knows the game of lacrosse inside and out and takes the time to teach you how to improve.”

 

What does it mean to be a student athlete at Lehigh? “It is an honor and a privilege to be participating in a competitive atmosphere, both on the field and in the classroom.”

 

In secondary school … three year letterwinner in lacrosse and soccer … served as captain in both sports … three-time All-League performer, two-time All-Section and 2009 All-County accolades in lacrosse … All-League and All-County selection in soccer … member of National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, English Honor Society, French Honor Society and Science Honor Society … AP Scholar … member of the French Club … Girls Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold Award … serves as volunteer lacrosse coach.

 

Personal: daughter of Nora and John McBrien … has two siblings, Meghan and John.
