BEFORE LEHIGH
At John Marshall High School, was named a Big Nine All-Conference Selection. Served as a team captain for two years. Averaged a little over 12 points, six rebounds and four assists in high school. Played AAU basketball with Minnesota Fury In the classroom, Hurt was an All-Conference honor roll selection. Oldest brother Michael played at the University of Minnesota, and other brother Matthew played at Duke University.
