Carso had a break-out year in 2003, starting 13 games, amassing 23 goals, two of which were game-winners, and collecting seven assists for a total of 30 points … named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week once … played and started in all 15 games in her junior season while scoring five goals in a game on two occasions versus Sacred Heart and Villanova … in her sophomore year, she scored 10 goals and assisted on five others for 15 points … tied for fourth on team in goals scored … as a freshman, played in all 13 games, 10 of which she started … recorded eight goals and distributed five assists … averaged 2.08 ground balls per game … in high school was MVP and team captain senior year … also excelled at field hockey in high school, twice winning team MVP award
