Lehigh Bested By Davidson In Series Finale

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Lehigh baseball concluded its weekend series in North Carolina against the Davidson Wildcats on Sunday afternoon, falling by a score of 10-0 in seven innings.
Davidson (7-7) starter Ed Hall earned the win with a stat line of four strikeouts with one hit in 5.0 innings. Lehigh (3-9) starter Shane O'Neill was credited with the loss for the Mountain Hawks.
Jamie Daly started the scoring for the Wildcats with a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning. Davidson added six runs in the second to quickly take a 7-0 lead. Neither team scored in the third or fourth innings, but the Wildcats scored another on an RBI groundout in the fifth to lead by eight runs. Two additional Davidson runs in the bottom of seventh concluded the weekend series.
Ryan Cochran and Max Dantoni recorded hits for the Mountain Hawks. Max Treonze, David Andolina, and Grady Golier also appeared on the mound for Lehigh.
The Mountain Hawks return to J. David Walker Field on Wednesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. to host Saint Peter's.
