Lehigh Set to Travel to Annapolis, Maryland, for Patriot League Semifinals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The No. 4-seeded Lehigh Mountain Hawks are set to travel to Annapolis, Maryland, to face the top-seeded Navy Midshipmen in the Patriot League semifinals Thursday night at 7 p.m. The game will stream live on ESPN+.
Lehigh and Navy met once during the regular season, with Lehigh earning a 75-64 victory at Stabler Arena on Feb. 18. The loss was one of just two Navy suffered in Patriot League play this season. The teams' first scheduled matchup was canceled and was not made up. The Mountain Hawks have also had the edge in the recent series between the two programs. Lehigh has won eight of the last 10 meetings.Â
Back on Feb. 18, Lily Fandre led the way for the Mountain Hawks with 21 points. Whitney Lind followed with 20, shooting an efficient 6-of-10 from the field and knocking down seven free throws.
Monday night in the Patriot League quarterfinals, Lehigh defeated Loyola Maryland 68-54 at Stabler Arena. Gracyn Lovette led the Mountain Hawks with a career-high 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Lovette, who led the Patriot League in assists per game during the regular season, also added eight assists, just one shy of her career best.
Belle Bramer contributed 16 points, shooting 6-of-11 from the floor, and added three steals on the defensive end to help secure the win.
The Midshipmen defeated Boston University, 76-66, on Monday night to advance to the semifinals.
