Lehigh Set to Begin Patriot League Play Against Bucknell Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Mountain Hawks will host Bucknell University at the Ulrich Sports Complex on Saturday at 11 a.m.Â
Lehigh enters Patriot League play with a 2-2 record, including wins over Iona and No. 18 Michigan. Bucknell comes in at 4-1 on the season, highlighted by victories over Iona and St. Bonaventure.
Sophomore Luke Breslin leads the Patriot League in assists, averaging 3.25 per game. He has also scored eight goals this season, including four in the win at Iona on Feb. 10.
First-year Finn Morgan has been named Patriot League Rookie of the Week twice this season and ranks fifth in the league in goals, averaging 3.25 per game. He scored six goals in Lehigh's season opener against Fairfield, his collegiate debut.
Senior Richard Checo leads the league in caused turnovers, averaging 3.75 per game. In Lehigh's loss last Saturday at No. 6 Richmond, he made history by breaking the NCAA Division I career caused‑turnover record. Checo surpassed Lehigh's Craig Chick and now has 162 career caused turnovers, setting a new Division I mark.
Connor Riley has been strong for the Mountain Hawks in faceoffs, winning 57% this season. He also leads the Patriot League with nine ground balls per game.
Kasey Heath has been solid in goal for Lehigh, ranking fifth in the league with an average of 9.25 saves per game.Â
Lehigh has won six of its last seven matchups against Bucknell, with the lone loss coming last season when Bucknell defeated Lehigh 11‑10 in Lewisburg, Pa.
