Rogers Tabbed As Patriot League Player Of The Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior infielder Raffaele Rogers was named the Patriot League Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. The award comes after the Mountain Hawks faced off against #22 University of Miami in a three-game series this past weekend.
Rogers had a stellar opening weekend for the Mountain Hawks, batting .556 on five hits with four RBIs, four runs scored, two home runs, and two drawn walks. The junior from Haddonfield, N.J. registered a .636 on base percentage, 1.222 slugging percentage, and 1.858 OPS.
In game one of the series on Friday, Rogers went 2-3 with a run scored and a walk. On Saturday, Rogers hit 2-4 with two RBIs and a solo home run. Rogers wrapped up the weekend on Sunday by going 1-2 with two RBIs, two runs scored, a home run, and a walk.
The Mountain Hawks return to action next weekend on February 20-22 for a three-game series against George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
