Lehigh Set to Make Short Trip East for Second Meeting in The Rivalry in 2026

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh will make the short drive to Easton, Pa., to face Lafayette on Saturday in the second edition of The Rivalry in 2026. The Mountain Hawks enter the contest at 9-4 in Patriot League play and in third place in the standings, holding a 13-10 overall record while riding a three-game winning streak. The Leopards are 4-9 in league play and 8-16 overall. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
On Jan. 24, Lehigh defeated Lafayette 62-48, extending its winning streak in the rivalry to three games. Alana Reddy delivered a career performance in the win, scoring a personal-best 15 points while knocking down five 3-pointers. Whitney Lind and Gracyn Lovette each added 14 points as Lehigh showcased a balanced offensive attack in the victory. The Mountain Hawks lead the all-time series 40-14 and are 16-9 on the road.
Lily Fandre leads the league in scoring throughout Patriot League games, averaging 17.7 points per game. The Mountain Hawks also feature the top three 3-point shooters, percentage-wise, in Patriot League play. Belle Bramer leads the league at 45.7% from 3-point range, Lovette is close behind at 44.4%, and Lind ranks third at 43.8% from deep.
