Lehigh Set for Matchup at #17/#19 Michigan in Ann Arbor

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks are set to travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to take on No. 17/19 Michigan.
Lehigh enters the contest 1-1 on the season, most recently earning a 16-7 win over Iona. Michigan is 3-0 overall and 2-0 at home, most recently defeating Detroit Mercy 11-7 on Tuesday.
The opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on BIG+.
In Lehigh's most recent win Tuesday at Iona, Lehigh was led by its two young attackers. First-year Finn Morgan, coming off Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors after scoring six goals against Fairfield, scored four Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Luke Breslin also scored four, a career high, and added three assists.
Morgan leads Lehigh with 10 goals, while Breslin tops the team with 10 assists through the first two games of the season.
On defense, senior Richard Checo caused five turnovers, leaving him just five caused turnovers shy of breaking the Division 1 record of caused turnovers. On Wednesday, senior Checo was named to the men's watch list for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award, presented by Stifel, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced. The watch list highlights the top players in college lacrosse and identifies early contenders for the 2026 award.
For Michigan, junior Nick Roode leads the team with 12 goals this season, followed closely by first-year Luke Shannehan, who has 11 goals.
