Mountain Hawks Return to ESU for PA Collegiate State Championships

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's wrestling is back in action Saturday with the Mountain Hawks return to East Stroudsburg for the Pennsylvania Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships. Action begins at 10 a.m. Streaming video will be available on ESUWarriors.com with brackets on FloWrestling.
This will be Lehigh's third visit to ESU this season. The Mountain Hawks opened their season at the ESU Open in early November and then went undefeated at the Nov. 24 Warrior Duals.
The Pennsylvania Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships are an individual tournament, featuring up to 17 college teams from the state of Pennsylvania.
Lehigh is expected to send 13 wrestlers to compete Saturday.

Last weekend Lehigh traveled to Iowa, where the Mountain Hawks defeated Otterbein 32-11 before falling to host Iowa 37-7 in the Mountain Hawks' first dual loss of the season. Audrey Jimenez and Aubre Krazer went 2-0 on the day while Abbi Cooper, Kryssceah Ravenelle, Sydney Thompson, Cameron Millsapps and Genevieve An also won against Otterbein.
Five Mountain Hawks appear in the latest rankings from The Open Mat, led by Jimenez (No. 1 at 110) and Krazer (No. 2 at 131). In addition, Cooper is ranked seventh at 117, Ravenelle comes in at No. 16 at 138 and An is ranked 11th at 180.
Following the Pennsylvania Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships, Lehigh will wrestle its final two regular season duals next weekend. The Mountain Hawks will host Presbyterian Friday at 7 p.m. and then will travel to Sacred Heart Sunday at noon.
