Lehigh Set to Welcome Lafayette for Rivalry Matchup at Stabler

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh will host Lafayette at Stabler Arena this Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in the Rivalry, presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, part of Jefferson Health.
Lehigh enters the matchup third in the Patriot League standings at 5-2 and 9-8 overall, while Lafayette comes in at 3-4 in league play and 7-11 overall.Â
The game will stream on ESPN+ and can also be heard on FOX Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.Â
This is the first game of a double header at Stabler Arena, the men's basketball matchup agasint Lafayette will tip off at 7 p.m.
Throughout the first seven games of league play, Lily Fandre leads the Patriot League in scoring, averaging 20.8 points per game. Wednesday evening, Fandre poured in a career-high 32 points in Lehigh's 67-61 overtime victory against Loyola, shooting 64% from the field and knocking down 3-of-5 attempts from beyond the arc. The senior has now scored in double figures in 11 consecutive games.
Additionally, in the win against Loyola, Whitney Lind reached the 20-point mark for the second time this season, finishing with 24 points. Lind connected on 7-of-13 field-goal attempts and went 3-of-5 from 3-point range.
Lafayette will enter Stabler Arena with a 3-4 record in Patriot League play and a 7-11 overall mark on the season. The Leopards are led by Teresa Kiewiet, who ranks third in the Patriot League in scoring, averaging 16.9 points per game.
Lehigh leads the all-time series against Lafayette, 39-14, and swept the Leopards last season, winning both matchups by double digits.

Due to incoming weather, Lehigh will postpone its recognition of the 40th anniversary of the 1986 ECC championship team, originally scheduled for Saturday's game.
